First Ideas for Our Music Video.

Narrative.

Being "it's the weekend" is the clearest lyric throughout the song we thought we should start there. Our original idea see's two groups of teenagers progressing through an average saturday night. One groups is a simple bunch of happy go lucky fella's and girls enjoying a night round a mates house simply having a party. The other group however contains a gang of rough lads stomping round town and breaking into a warehouse to let themselves act free. Some point towards the breakdown near the end of the song the two groups meet.

Cinematography ideas.

-A lot of the action could be mirrored between the two groups, i.e. a transition of a beer being passed in one group merges into a punch being thrown in another.

-Transitions via continuity editing (see example above)

-Very visual effects - the feathers falling out in a pillow fight (...in slow motion)

-Constant movement.

-Could play around with time manipulation and speed effect, i.e.
-Slow/Fast motion lyrics
-Pausing the band, moving, them and then continuing the song. Later this will be sped up for visual fx.

Mise En Scene.

-Strobe lighting for band.
